Mehdi in the Desert
The desert atmosphere has been known to have a magical effect on visitors who decide to stay a while. It affected Mehdi, who arrived 25 years ago on July 4th in a vehicle without AC. The San Jacinta Mountain Peak looming over the small main street in the city had Mehdi taking a close look at the soft and gentle colors in the atmosphere that reflected off that mountain. Those colors his eyes adjusted to made Palm Springs his second home.

New and old collectors visit Mehdi’s Gallery every year to add to their collections.
401 North Palm Canyon is home to Mehdi’s Fine Art Gallery, which has operated since 2004. This is his second location after moving to the opposite side of N Pam Canyon in 2017. Mehdi enjoys welcoming his clients who travel from all over the world, stopping in to visit and hear about his travels over the summer months, not to mention his new and exciting work.
